Corrections, bug reports, privacy questions, and business enquiries all land in the same place.

MeetingScribe is published by SugarPinePM, a small independent software company, so there is no support queue and no chatbot in the corner of the screen. Messages are read by a person, and you will normally get a reply within a few days, though slower stretches happen.

Write directly if you would rather not use a form, or if you need to attach something. The form further down goes to the same person.

Before you write

A few of the most common questions already have detailed answers, and you will get an answer faster by reading than by waiting for a reply:

  • Is my audio really not uploaded? See how it works, which explains what runs where and shows how to confirm it yourself in your browser's network inspector.
  • Why did my long recording fail? In-browser transcription is reliable to roughly forty minutes per job. Split the file into parts named in order and select them together, and they are joined into one transcript.
  • Why will my file not load? MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, and FLAC work. AMR files from some phone recorders cannot be decoded by browsers at all, so convert those first.
  • What am I allowed to transcribe? See what you can and cannot do, and the guide on recording and consent law. Both are general information rather than legal advice.

What is worth writing about

  • Bugs. The most useful reports say which browser and operating system you used, the file format and rough length, and what actually happened. If the browser console showed an error, that text helps a lot.
  • Corrections. If a guide is wrong, out of date, or misleading, tell us which page and what is wrong. Guides that touch law and competitor pricing age quickly and we would rather fix them than leave them.
  • Feature requests. Useful, with one caveat: anything that requires sending your audio or transcript to a server is out of scope permanently, not just for now.
  • Privacy questions. Including questions about what the analytics and advertising on this site do and do not collect. See the privacy policy and cookie policy for the current detail.
  • Advertising and business. The site is funded by advertising, and enquiries about that are welcome.

What happens to your message

The form posts what you type into a private spreadsheet that only SugarPinePM can read, along with the topic you selected and the time it was sent. If you leave your name or email, those are stored with the message so a reply is possible. Nothing you type here is used for advertising, sold, or shared, and there is no mailing list attached to this form.

One important boundary: this form is an ordinary web form, so what you type in it does travel over the internet. That is the opposite of how the transcriber works. Please do not paste transcripts, recordings, client names, or other confidential material into it. Describe the problem instead, and if a sample file is genuinely needed we will work out a safe way to handle that.

Send a message

Or email hello@meetingscribe.net directly. Both reach the same inbox.

Please do not paste transcripts, recordings, or confidential details into this form. It is an ordinary web form and is not the private, on-device path the transcriber uses.

If you would rather understand the project before writing, the about page covers who builds MeetingScribe, how it is funded, and the limits we are upfront about.
